BOYS 4x4 RULES
Beginner Boys Competitive Gymnastics Program using the 4 womens apparatuses (level 1-3)
NATIONAL RULE ALLOWANCES
AAU follows the rules of the sport set forth by the National Governing Body (USA Gymnastics) with these approved program allowances. *Refer to district modifications for local events.
AAU SPECIAL STARS
(athletes with special needs)
Program for athletes with physical or intellectual disabilities. This program closely follows Special Olympics level structure to allow athletes to easily participate in multiple organizations without having to adjust levels and rules.

DISTRICT RULE MODIFICATIONS
NC AAU offers the following levels of competition: AAU Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire, Open Optional & Level 6-10. NC AAU follows the National AAU Rule Allowances with one modification: Copper & Bronze Vault- ONLY ONE VAULT is permitted. A second vault will be allowed for unusual circumstances or if the one vault receives an average score below 4.00. The Chief Judge should inform the coach in this instance for the option of a second vault attempt.

THIRD PARTY CERTIFICATES
Hosting an event at an off site location requires you to obtain a third party certificate of liability. Apply and retrieve these certificates here.

BID APPLICATION
Apply to host an AAU Qualifier. Bids open each year in February/March and close in April.

GRADUATING SENIORS
Graduating senior gymnasts & coaches submit your bio to us for scholarship consideration and recognition at District Championships. Due date= District Championship Registration Deadline Date. Late submissions may not be guaranteed gifts.
