    $130 per athlete

  • *Space is limited. The AAU Executive Committee reserves the right to close registration early before the posted deadline if maximum entries have been received. The event schedule will be released approx. 1 week after the registration deadline.

     

    LATE FEE: $50.00 per athlete (if room allows). NO ONSITE REGISTRATIONS.

COMPETITION INFORMATION

THINGS TO KNOW

  • All youth participants must compete in their District/State Championship tobe eligible to participate at the AAU Gymnastics National Championship. Adult athletes mustcompete in 1 (one) AAU licensed event. No qualification for AAU Special Stars participants.

  • ● No minimum score is required.
    ● If an athlete is unable to participate in their District/State Championship, or if a skill level
    is not offered, they must petition to enter into all national events through their District Gymnastics Chair.

    ● If there is not an active AAU Gymnastics program in your district, you may petition your athletes to participate at Nationals. Contact the National Gymnastics Chair for this petition process (gymnastics@aausports.org)
    ● Participation in Regional Championships is not required to attend National Championships.
    ● All entries will be submitted to each district/State chair for verification of participation in their respective District Championship.
    ● Minimum age must be 4 years of age as of the start date of the competition unless approved by the national chair.
    *REGISTRATION DEADLINE MAY BE PRIOR TO YOUR DISTRICT/STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.
    Note: You can still register without having participated in your AAU District/State Championship IF the registration deadline for AAU Nationals precedes the registration deadline for your AAU District/State Championship.
    ● Note: All athletes MUST register a non-participating, non-athlete adult AAU member
    (coach) AT TIME OF REGISTRATION in order to be eligible for entry. Adult athletes not be their own coaches- THIS IS PER THE AAU INSURANCE POLICY.

  • PETITIONING: Participants who are unable to attend their District/State championships should submit a petition for consideration.
     

    If your district does not have an AAU program, you should submit
    a petition as well.

    Competition Format: Modified Capital Cup. Coaches should be prepared that athletes at different levels may be competing at the same time in a maximum of our competition areas in the competitive arena. (determined by number of participants).

YOUTH GIRLS LEVELS: Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Open Optional, Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire

SPECIAL STARS: Twinkle Stars, Shining Stars, Super Stars (athletes with special needs)

BOYS 4x4:  See Rules 

ADULT LEVELS: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire, Open Optional

COMPETITION RULES: AAU National Gymnastics Rules. Refer to the AAU NationalAllowances 

 

EVENT PARKING
$15/ PER DAY

 

REFUNDS
If an athlete is unable to participate due to an injury or family emergency, proper documentation must be presented for a partial refund to be considered before the entry deadline. Entry fees are not transferable to enter another athlete.

Refund requests should be emailed to gymnastics@aausports.org along with a doctor's note for consideration.


There are no refunds considered for no shows at the event.


SPECTATOR DAILY PASS:

All youth participants must compete in their District/State Championship to be eligible to participate at the AAU Gymnastics National Championship.

 

$10.00 /child (ages 5-12, age 4 & under / Free), $20.00 /adult.
Cash & Credit Cards accepted.

Registered athletes receive complimentary entrance to all sessions with their credentials.
